that doesn't seem very smart to me - hard drives have tiny vents on them and they need access to that air. that was one of the problems with dunking our mobos in transformer oil for cooling purposes. it'd been suggested to simply cover those vents, but common consensus was they were there for a reason.

the rest of it, sure, great idea. but i'd have used compact flash for storage. :/
