Well my research has told me that the latest version of winamp has a built in version of the 4front eq, as it was better than the winamp eq. Problem is, it seems you cant disable it, and that eq is built in with the bass/treble knobs, you adjust those, the eq adjusts. This takes effect on all mp3 /non lossless music. I even installed the stand alone 4front eq, and it says (inactive) when tis not a lossless song. So I just went with the 4front, tuned it on winamp to match the sound of mp3's and the standalone one for the lossless files. Maybe what I will try later is an older version of winamp with the dsp bridge and use that 31band eq again. Maybe it wont bypass it and use the built in amp
