I think you'de be better off just changing wheels to one with the radio controls. If that's too enspensive, another alternatiive is to get a clip-on remote. Pioneer makes a real nice one.

I tried out the Pioneer unit and it worked with my cheap IR reciever. Something to think about for those who do not already have the buttons in the wheel.
