factory pioneer subwoofer amp question/lexus sc400
Alright, I have been using my carputer for a month with my factory amps and the highs work pretty well, but the subwoofer amp volume is inconsistent. I'm beginning to think that the amp may take speaker level inputs. This seems strange to me b/c the amp for the highs takes low level inputs. Is there a way to test the inputs on the amp to see which type it takes? I'm using an audigy zs pcmcia with the amps and the front and rear are plugged into the front and rear inputs for the highs amp, and the sub is plugged into the output for sub/center on the audigy zs. Anyone know where I should start?
