all the SanDisk cards are good, it's just a matter of what you need. If you want to use Stand By of Hibernation then you MUST use a "fixed" disk. Unfortunately, that limits you to Ultra II or Extreme I. Otherwise go ahead and try the Extreme IV and see how well it works.
Also, keep in mind that SanDisk bought M-Systems which makes OEM and industrial level flash drives. They have a new CF card which will be the fastest out there and even support UDMA and come configured as a "fixed" drive. I don't know if it's out yet though.
