FAT32 then use bootprep in same way? Research (when I should have been bug fixing at work) resulted in thinking I'd have to use FAT16 with a 64k cluster size. The XPe MSDN pages seemed to say only FAT16 was usable with bootprep.

No card supports UDMA4 but the card reader I have doesn't support that only PIO. Apparently there is a Firewire Sandisk reader that supports UDMA4 (not a lot of good) but there is a 3rd party USB 2.0 reader from compuapps that will. Not useful for me as I don't want a USB device hanging off my system but might be nice for those who don't mind. It's on sale at £19.95 at the moment too.

Now if I could get XP to see it as UDMA4 in an IDE adapter I'd be grinning like a fish. Odd term I know!
