Hi PioneerMan,
thanks for the info. This is what i found in the 07 product preview catalog. I have it as a PDF file it.
IP-Bus USB Adapter Ready*
The IP-Bus USB Adapter (CD-UB100) helps make it simple to expand
a Pioneer car entertainment system’s listening library. Connect it
from the head unit to a portable digital player or USB memory device,
and gain convenient access to digital music files that have been
compiled and edited on a personal computer, then transferred
to the portable device.
NOTE: Unauthorized copying of music is strictly prohibited.
*Compatible with DEH-P6950IB, DEH-P5950IB, DEH-P4950MP and DEH-P3950MP.
On the bottom there with the star condition. It mentions that only works with the Px9xxMP or the Px9xxIB series headunits. Also when you said USB T001 file naming, does it show folder names? or are they all just numbers?
Yeah would be great if you can post some vids up. Thanks for all the info the thing with the 07 line is that it doesn't have a headunit that comes with built-in bluetooth (DEH-P7850BT or DEH-P9850BT not sure what those models are named as in the US) because at the moment i would like to get either one of those and then get a CD-UB100 so that it can use USB flash drives or USB HDDs. Any other suggestion on how to get bluetooth and USB at the same time if i want to stick with the Pioneer brand.
Cheers,
Jim
