Did you try nuking your entire ~/Library/Application Support/AMP folder then re-running AMP and re-importing?

Hey guys,
I've put a demo of the AMP_WarDriving util for download in this thread:
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...&postcount=139
It's just to see what it currently does, and for suggestions, etc..

There's a proprietary file in there, I think someone (gnat?) sent me source a while back to read it, so I'll check that out.
You might also check out some of the Linux projects to see how they interface with the iPod. I used to use gtkpod ( http://gtkpod.sourceforge.net) on my Linux laptop before I got a Mac and it workd great. The only reason I quit using it was that if I updated my iPod using gtkpod then iTunes would puke at it and totally reload the pod based on it's db.
I also found this link where someone reverse engineered the itunesdb file ( http://homepage.ntlworld.com/simon.m...unes_spec.htm).
Hope this helps.

Another site you might check out is http://www.yamipod.com. I might actually start using it to sync my iPod since it's available on BOTH platforms (Mac and Linux). Oh yeah, I think there's a Windows binary too
They also mention something about having added iTunes 6.0.5 compatibility.

great progress first of all. As said in the amp wishlist forum, you are an extremly fast programmer. Anyway, the "hide mouse" function doesn't work exactly right for me, it is hidden when I start, but as soon as I press play, the mouse cursor appears and doesn't hide again until I restart amp.
Also, is there any way for an on screen keyboard for the browser, for e-mail logins, or the forum, any form on a page. The OSK works great for puttin an internet address in, but that all it does, may add another button up top for an OSK that can put info into the text bar?

there is a keyboard in the browswer, never mind its only for the address bar.
and i can host the files on my site which might be easier to get to. I cant figure out how to download from that site.

AMP V1.4b RELEASE
----------------------
Download: http://www.aychamo.com/amp/AMP.zip
Changes:
- Added "AMP_WarDriving" plugin - accessible from the main Utilities menu
- Added config option "Check for Internet Access" which will show a green light if internet is available, and a red light if it isn't. If this option is not selected, nothing will show.
Instructions:
This version should install fine over your old version.
If you want AMP to constantly be searching for networks while you are driving, and still want to play music, etc, then do the following:
1. Start AMP
2. Start the WarDriving plugin (and you'll want to enable "Auto Join Best Networks" option from within)
3. Click "Hide" (not Back! - Back stops the plugin!)
That's it.. Once you've enabled the "Check for Internet" option from within AMP, it will keep searching for the best networks, etc.. Pretty cool
