I have wishlist item - not sure if this has been brought up.
How abut making the movies automatically play the next movie when they are finished. I have a bunch of music videos and it would be cool to play them in sequence without having to mess with the controls.
This may already be in version 2, but I thought I'd add my vote for it anyway.

ok, i searched the thread an didn't find it, so i'm going to post my wish for the wishlist.. basically like winamp's jump to song feature where you can quickly jump to an artist or a song in your loaded playlist. for isntance, lets say that i have all of my songs loaded up (for sake of argument, we'll say 10000 songs). you wouldn't want to have to scroll through that list of songs to find the one specific track you want to hear. With winamp's jump to song feature you hit the hotkey, or click the button to pull up a search dialog box that lets you input any part of the track you want to hear, if you enter the artist name it will find all the songs in the playlist matching that artist's name. i.e. if i type in "krush" it will find all tracks by DJ Krush, etc.
i hope that makes sense, as it is a very handy way to quickily jump to a specific song, artist, or album.
cheers!

lol @ the naked ladies. Perhaps, in the future (this is the wishlist thread!) I can link visuals to photo albums, and you could have a photo album of your nudies (probably 50gigs right?) or whatever and it would just transition between them (as when you hit "Play" on the photo mode.)

I'm reading thru the whole tread so excuse me if this has been addressed, but a custom screen on the front end, behind the floating icons, would be really nice, one were you can set level of transparency.

Screen dimming

Is it possible to achieve screen dimming via software? I know that you can vary the opacity of the window. It seems to me that you could make a single window with no controls on it, no frame, no focus and keep it frontmost at all times after sunset. Allow the user to set both the color of the window (I'd pick a default of black with sometime like 80% opacity or whatever looked right) and include two options - one to autoengage when sunset occurs based on lat/long of either the GPS if it is working, or a user input location, or simply a time the user specifies. The same options would be in place for sunrise.
This window would overlay everything as long as AMP is running. That includes if you go to the desktop, run iTunes, whatever.
My screen is damn bright at night and could use some dimming. Even Amp text is bright. Adjusting the gamma makes it tolerable but I could use a lot less brightness at night.
I bought a Garmin GPS, recently It has a great implimentation of screen dimming based on the time, and a algorhythm (sp) of sunrise sunset and dims the screen (changes day / night mode) based on the time and the geographic location..
Simple implimentation for AMP

ok, maybe this is bad, but I started playing with the AMP app
and found a EASY way to custom skin the program.

are you just replacing the background image when you right click on the App's Icon and select "Show Package Contents"? Or do you have another way?
