That is looking great! May i make one suggestion though.....I see what your doing with the icons that "move over" on the top left, but instead of having the one that is selected so big, why not make it only a little bigger and grey the ones hat arent selected out....it would look a lot smoother in my opinion. But other than that, it looks so good, I can't wait!

video playback in AMP 2.0

thought this might be a good alternative to quicktime for Amp's Video playing, very powerful, hot keys, full screen etc. and it's FREE(open source)!

VLC player

Why would you want to replace Quicktime? Free and proven technology.

Because you can't play it in fullscreen mode unless you upgrade it to Quicktime Pro (which isn't free)also VLC plays more files types i.e. DiVX without having to download multiple codex, it can play some .wmv files and Aychamo had an issue using it in the last version of AMP.

I noticed in the screenshots that there is no visible volume slider. Was this a design choice or is there some other functionality I can't see that takes care of volume. I personally think it's a bit cumbersome in the current version to change the volume.

Slingplayer runs on a app by itself, but it does need broadband to work well.
