I haven't tried it because my Mini doesn't have one but would the Apple remote work? I think the key bindings are the same as for Front Row.

I had to open communication with the apple remote through the IOKit. There are several tutorials on how to accomplish this if somebody was inclined to add it to AMP

Were you referring to a 3rd party app that would bind the apple remote to keys?

IMO using the apple remote is a very nice method for controlling a FE in the car. so long as your IR port is visible .
Once I finally get a mini in my car it is going to be my primary input.

Just to get this clear, Amp2xm does not utilize touchscreen?
Also does anyone have screenshots or video of the xm radio screen. I would just download it but I am out of town and away from my car for two more months. So i am just researching for when I return.

No it does not currently utilize the touch screen.

Video is just full screen video. No buttons or overlays. Escape quits the video and puts you back to the menu screen.

The XM screen has genre and channel list. I can't give you a screen shot of it right now as I've sent my XM box up to NeonDev to help out with XM for NBB.
