I've seen a few tethering apps around, but I found one that I find to be really useful.
It's a USB tether application that does
not require rooted, hacked, or socketed phone/browser. As far as I can tell it's a 1:1 data link (passes regular packets straight through to your computer).
I was using Tetherbot, but it didn't seem to work with Ride Runner too well. This app has worked almost flawlessly (except Radar, but that might not be a phone issue). The install was painless and only took about 30 seconds.
