Thumbs up We need to see your ride!

Hello Car PC Enthusiasts,

My name is Ed, and I'm an engineer for the Volkswagen automotive group (Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Seat, and Skoda). We've got a request for the MP3Car faithful...

We have some executives from Germany coming to the Bay Area in the middle of November to get a feel for the US in-car electronics market. They'll be driving all sorts of cars currently on sale in the States, but I wanted to let them talk to people who are living the future of in-car electronics right now. So, together with MP3Car, we're extending an invitation to you. We’re looking to choose 2-3 people to spend half a day or so talking to some executive level engineers and product planners from Volkswagen. And, (here’s the good part), you’ll be rewarded with a BoomzBox HD radio from MP3Car, as well as a hundred dollar gas card – not bad for a few hours! We’ll be choosing the appropriate candidates based on the quality of your in-car PC install, how well your system is integrated, and what types of applications you’re running. In order to enter you need to be able to be willing to drive to Palo Alto for half a day and talk to some German executives from Volkswagen on Monday, November 12th. If you’re interested, please respond with a post here showing:

• Pictures of your install
• Tell us your motivations and future plans
• List out the current applications you're running
• A brief paragraph on why you would be a good representative of what the future holds for automotive electronics

After reviewing your posts, I’ll be in touch with you via PM to set up any other interviews or discussions so we can make our final decision. Thanks so much, and I look forward to seeing your rides!

Ed L.
Project Engineer
