Problem with Headset Profile and Nokia Phone

I just bought a Nokia N75 smartphone. I am using a Belkin BT dongle on my pc with the latest Broadcomm drivers (5.1.33). All the profiles on my pc work fine the phone EXCEPT the Handsfree profile. The PC will connect the handsfree profile to the phone but then drop the connection after about 3 seconds. I have tried several different pc's and even a different dongle. Also I CAN connect the N75 to a BT earpiece with no issue. So the issue is that the N75 won't stay connected to the handsfree profile, even though it works fine with all the other profiles (DUN, SPP OBEX, etc).

Any ideas?? Nokia was no help at all.

I've just upgraded from my N70 to a 6110 navigator and I'm having the same problem. The handsfree profile worked perfectly on the n70 however it is dropping out after a couple of seconds on the 6110. I'm using Widcomm stack 5.0.1.801.

I don;t know if it's relevant, but if I to to connect from computer to phone, it drops out almost immediatley. If I connect from phone to computer, it stays for connected for a few seconds before it drops out.

Did you end up getting ti to work Nola111?

Unfortunately no. I returned the phone because it would not stay connected. This sucks because I really like Nokia's but it seems their BT doesn't like USB BT dongles for some reason.

Has anyone had any luck with this. This is a real problem for me with my N73. I have another 12 months on contract so can't just swap to another phone.

Surely with all the Symbian 9 phones out there (N95, N95 8GB, N73, N82, 6110 Nav, E65, 6500 slide, 6120 etc etc) there are enough people trying to use audio gateway that there must be a solution to this problem??

EDIT:

SOLVED! If you are having problems with Widcomm drivers and your Symbian S60 phones, downgrade to version 4.x version drivers. My N73 now works with the Audio Gateway service. It seems whatever was changed with Widcomm versions 5.x and newer, is incompatible with Nokia's/Symbian's implementation.

Any download links for the older version of wildcomm?
