Bluetooth integration hack

If anyone is interested in getting bluetooth integrated into your PC/CarPC check out this tutorial I just wrote, should help you or get you started providing you have an open USB header. Check it out at: http://hacks.andrewstrausberg.com/BTIntegrated/

Let me know what you think/if it helps.

Nope no problems... In this case the casing was plastic and the solder points for the USB connector its self did not connect to anything they were only there for support.

This is perfect! I found this thread at the same time I was looking for some usb header connectors. I needed some more usb ports because I only have two. One for my touchscreen and another for a bluetooth dongle, and it's nice to have an open port. Genius idea! Suddenly bluetooth isn't something you enable by "plugging in", it's a built in feature! Great job!

Man, this is a great idea, and I wish I could do it. I unfortunately bring my BT dongle into the office everyday and use it on my office pc too. I need to suck it up and just buy a 2nd one. If I do, I'll be using this tutorial. Thanks P3D4TOR!

Maybe for some but not so much for others... plus, if you read others posts, it gave them the idea to do it (they already know how but it just never came to mind)
