Mobile Impact IS... OnBoard!!!

I am the author of Mobile Impact and I live here in the great lakes state of Michigan. I see a huge need and potential for integrating a computer system into a boat. Mobile Impact already has many features that most of the others dont possess. I feel that this would be another great step for the software. The program has already been developed into a commercial product and the next release is coming up of the public version.
This is what I would like to know... What is the main navigation software used in a boating environment? The program automatically integrates the following land based gps programs, iGuidance, iGuidance Ultra Mobile, and Freedrive for European users. Also if there is any boating specific devices or software that is computer based that I can add please let me know and I will do my best to attempt to acquire and integrate it into the program. My goal would be to create Mobile Marine/Nautique. Thank you.

No suggestions?

Ok fine, so I went out and did some research on my own anyway and I found this program -> MaxSea -> http://www.maxsea.com/
This software is an all in one type of system, according to their site, it has the capability to connect all instruments on-board including GPS, wind, compass, sea temperature and depth sensors. So I acquired a copy of version 10 and version 12 and integrated them both in Mobile Impact, and will be available in my next release. The software has the option to increase font and button sizes making it very versatile in a mobile environment.
Keep checking back with the Mobile Impact forum. -> http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/mobile-impact/.
I expect the new version to be released by the 19th of this month.

I am using GPSNAVX as my plotting software and understand that this is one of the more popular ones.

Thanks for the suggestion but GPSNAVX looks like it only for the MAC.

Audiomaker is an unknown quantity at this point
Forgive me for saying, but as someone who is into building CarPc's, and has 3 boats, Maptech Chart Navigator Pro is definately the most bang for the buck and is relatively touch friendly in "Cruise Mode".
It is easy to use but powerful. I'd call it the "iGuidance" of maring navigation.

No affiliation, just my opinion.

Since I'm going through several options for "Aquaputers" right now, I'll be sure to check out your front end.

All the Best'
Sean
