I just have one quick and hopefully easy question to ask about this upcoming product... I know that the audio is sent over USB but will it be how will it be "heard"? (I guess is the best way to put it) I'm planning on having 4 independent speakers as well as an independent sub woofer. Will I only be able to hear stereo or will it be more like surround sound?

However the audio goes out through the PC. The PC will treat the USB Audio as a a line-in or somesuch.

I'm surely oversimplifying it.

someone poke me if i'm wrong, but I belive HD radio is only 2 channel sound. So most sound cards will split this up how you tell them to like any other sound input. So to answer your question, it will come out the speakers the same way your personal music would.

It's 2 channel (stereo) audio. It would play just like any other 2 channel audio source on your computer.
