Antenna requirements

Just a quick question, what kind of anntenna will the BoomzBox HD require? I'm assuming just the stock antenna would work? What type of connector will there be for the antenna?
What impedance will the box be expecting?
Thanks!

It has a standard Motorola antenna jack like the antenna jack found on any aftermarket head unit. Your car's stock antenna will work just fine. You might need an adapter if your has a proprietary antenna connector that will convert your car's proprietary connector to the standard Motorola style. Such adapters are readily available and inexpensive.

We'll be releasing the techical specifications shortly but to answer your question the input impedance range for FM is 50 to 100 ohms.

Sounds good, and im sure a powered antenna won't pose any problems, i don't think i can think of any reason why it would.

Is the HD-box-side motorola jack the jack (female) or plug (male)?

It will work fine as long as you continue to power it.

Sure, there are actually going to be two boxes, one will be the tuner and the second one will be the USB translator that will allow the tuner can hook up to a computer. The tuner box is about 5.5 (w) x 3 (l) x 1 (h) inches and the USB translator is very similar in size at about 5 (w) x 2.5 (l) x 1 (h) inches.
