amp/pc remote wire doesn't work, weird problem...

This might be a stupid question, but here goes anyways!

I've installed my amp a few weeks ago, running with my PDA for testing sound, and awaiting my carputer install to take shape

I've had no problems at all.

Today I FINALLY started installing everything, connecting my OPUS 90W DC-DC to the same remote wire as the amp. Now only the PC boots up (Well it's cool enough, but a shame when there's no sound)

It might be some voltage problem? You have any ideas? I think it's fairly weird...

Thanks!

Okay, I figured this one out myself, or at least I found another solution. Thought I'd post here in case someone'd have the same problem.

The voltage dropped to around 7volts when I connected both the amp and the PC, which is apparently enough for the OPUS, but not enough for the amp. I solved this by connecting the amp to the remote out on the OPUS, it works GREAT! As a bonus the amp only starts 10seconds after the PC, so no problem with pops either
