Very Important Question here people.
Ok so i have a 2003 Sunfire and i have an aftermarket CDplayer that i am wanting to put into my car. People are telling me that in order to do so i will need to relocate my factory cd player either underneath one of my seats or in my trunk because there is something in the cd player that powers a few things in my car. But i when i talk to other people about it they say they have never heard that. So if you could will somebody pleaseeeee help me out because if i dont have to i would really like to go ahead and install it...Thanx -- ash

HAHA. Scott, did your GF's identity really get stolen?
Ash - http://fitguide.installationexcellen...hicleId=202428
Thats a link to PAC Audio products. Use the pull down menu to select OE Integration - add an AM radio to your OE car. Its already set for 03 Sunfire. See if one those will work for you.

I'm confused....was the purpose of the title to get people to pay attention to you?
It's in poor taste either way.

Yeah... she caught it before anything major happened today and i think we're all squared away. she just has to file a report at the police station now so they have a record of it. Nothing major did come of it, she's very good about keeping up on thing and noticed a odd charge on two of her cards.

man -I've been so busy lately...I haven't hardly been on the forum at all...
I've been busy comparing lines of code for the update...with all of the custom mods we have done to the forum, when it comes time to update, it's a major PITA! Took me nearly an entire day just to compare all of the files.
I'm also writing the manual for the G4 and working on various aspects of that release.
Not to mention the regular job duties...lol

While I don't agree with all of the information in the thread I'm about to post the link to; In it (post #14) is a simple proceedure to determine what you need to do. In general the info is good enough, and it may shed some light on what your friend knew something about, as well as give you new ammunition to with.
One of several class 2 databus threads.

Yeup - have two of them sitting at home. That's what I've been using to write the manual and to try and answer any questions.

Nope - the GTi is my personal vehicle that I use to show. The G4 doesn't meet the needs for that. The G4 is a drop in solution, I've never gone that route in the GTi. It serves a completely different purpose.

I still have it. Nothing has changed about the install in my car.
