Volvo MOST audio petition

There have been a significant number of posts from people frustrated by their inability to add an MP3 player, XM or Sirius satellite receiver, or other audio input to their 2004, 2005, and 2006 volvo (XC90 and other models) when equipped with the MOST audio system. There is a petition to Volvo to do something about this -

http://www.petitiononline.com/volvomst/petition.html

Hopefully we can get enough of these people to sign the petition and get Volvo to pay attention to this.

Please click on the link and sign the petition.

Thanks.

Good luck with this.
Online petitions carry about as much weight as an unshaven crazy man shouting at the CEO from the sidewalk in front of their HQ.

A manufacturer isn't going to change the system they use to communicate within the car just so a few people can add MP3Players.

The amount of engineering that went into developing the MOST system for these cars is enormous.

Give it some time. Aftermarket companies exist to create solutions to these problems. They will come out with one eventually. Because the MOST system is more complicated, it's taking a bit longer.

Sure they do... It all depends how hard it would be to add an aux channel, if it wasn't there to start with. Mazda added one to the 07 line-up; it probably has more to do with the target group for their vehicles. Good luck w/ it man you might be better off forwarding your petition to PIE. If its worth their time they'll take it up?
