Thumbs up Monsoon Sound System

Hey,

I have been reading up on some reviews of the Monsoon Sound System, and alot of people don't like them. I have a 2003 Pontiac Grand Am with the SC/T package, and the sound booms. It even has SVT which adjust the sound to the wind noise. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with this sound system. Am I just wierd? Please reply with what you think. Thanks.

I had svt on my monte... and it dosn't adjust the level to the wind noise... it adjusts it to the speed of the car.

But whats your question... why we don't like it? If you love it then what does it matter what we think, sounds like you're looking for something wrong with it to give yourself an excuse to upgrade.

If you're happy with it, great, if not then start looking at alternatives.

what sounds good to one person may sound like *** to another.. what sounds good to THAT person may sound horrible to another... audio is very subjective, some people have higher standards and can hear a HELL of a lot more than others can...

but as stated above, if you're happy with it that's all you need. But i agree, it does sound like you're trying to find an excuse to upgrade the system

no rca's. you need a hi-low converter. it takes the speaker level outputs of the factory stereo and gives you rca jacks. some are cheap, some are expensive, you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to these.

there is not any automotive, factory sound system that i have ever liked, from any manufacturer, from any trim level (some are adequate/bearable, but only for a little while).

some people are perfectly fine with the factory equipment, and that is fine-- you are the one that will listen to it all the time, and so there is nothing wrong with you...

sound is like food, just because i like my steaks well done, doesn't mean that you should also...
