Make left RCA for highs, right for lows

I have it set up so that my right stereo channel goes to my smaller, high range speakers and my left channel goes to the mids and 6x9s. So i cant fade L to R but i can fade front and back.

What I want to do is adjust the bass/treble of each channel individually. I want to have the L heavy on treble low on bass, and have the R heavy on bass low on treble. Kind of like a virtual crossover.

Do you know any way to do this? I've been searching and cant find anything about this.

THANKS!

check out the software tuning thread...

The way that you're going about this, you're loosing stereo sound... unless i'm missing something, I really wouldn't suggest this.

Okay, so i got the soundblaster live USB external sound card. It sounds much better. And offers 4.1 which is good. But i still wish i could make the front have more treble (i have 2 tweeters) and make the back have more bass.

I cant find any way to adjust the treble/bass for specific speakers with any of the soundblaster tools. Which softwares are you talking about. I checked that thread and nothing suggested a hint at what i was looking to do.
Any recommendations?

It does more than "hint" at the answer. It outright says it.

You can 'digitally rewire' the card with this software. Time alignment, eq, phase control among others (plug-ins may be required)

Keep reading that thread, your other options are VST plugins, but I don't think you'll be able to control separate channel's on SB Live external through anything other than the creative software.
