Monsoon stereo Passat Ipod?

I drive a 2002 Passat GLX with the monsoon stereo but im tired of using the ****ty fm ipod adapter and i was wondering if there are any kind of different hook ups i can use with that so i dont have to lose stattions with the FM adaptor

if your vehicle is prewired for the vw cd changer, (a plug in the trunk) you can buy an adapter that will make the stock headunit think an ipod or a univeral aux in is the factory changer. if you already have a changer you'll have to give it up. if you have an indash cd changer the factory deck might still be setup up for an external source, but i doubt it. usa-spec, axcess, peripherial, etc
