HELP amp shuts off

I am finishing up a system in my legend and had an eclipse amp under the passenger seat everything worked great until i put the seat on i then checked that i wasnt gettin any remote power so i undid the headunit and the wire was not stripped all the way now getting remote power but the amp cuts out when I put the volume higher bad amp or what do you guys think it was working fine before. the remote wire
what else could it be what should i check how should i check
i grounded the amp to the seat bolt hold the seat down in between the seat bracket and the hole

Find a better ground with no grease or paint. Scrape the paint away if you need to.

Also, puctuation can be a good thing.

Check your wires to make sure your seat doesn't sit on them or cut them when you reinstalled. And yes a better ground is always a good thing. Chassis bolts are best, file the paint away on both the bolt and the car.

Is this amp for interior speakers or for subs. You could have the incorrect impedances hooked up to the amp, where its trying to use more power with lower than recommended impedances.
