Multiple Aux inputs from a HU?

Does anyone know of a way to get multiple user selectable aux inputs from any hu on the market?

I know that a 701 would allow for this feature, but a 701 isn't an option for this project.

I'd like to use a HU for the fail safe and as a way to keep AM/FM radio, have a volume knob, and allow for audio switching between two computers in an install.

Anyone have any ideas? I know that there are adapters for stock systems (hit the sat. rad. button and it will switch between the two aux. inputs on the adapter...), but this won't be for a stock system.

Hmmm

it's a little expensive to do what you want.

Blaunpukt HU's offer 2 aux ins on some models

But I would just build some relays tied to a switch and call it a day. Would cost <$15-20 in parts.

how were you thinking about selecting the inputs? would you mind having a switch or were you expecting to do this via the head unit?

Some of the new pioneers, I cant recall the models, that do not have a front AUX but have a direct 1/8" plug in the rear. As well as the option to hook-up another AUX by using the P-Bus adapter.
