Question Will There Be Enough Power

Note: Short version at bottom

Intro
Well, I've finally found the time and money to do a full blown upgrade to my baby, 1995 Pontiac Trans Am
http://home.comcast.net/~jayd1056/TA.html

and i was wondering with all this equipment i'm putting in here if the stock alternator and battery will be enough to power it.

If i had my car with me and not at the shop having lots of engine mods and repairs I'd just look and figure it out, but i want to order parts soon so i figure i'd just ask.

Part 1 Speakers

So anyway, i want to put in 4 Alpine SPR-17S
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...?model=SPR-17S
Powered by PDX-4.100
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...odel=PDX-4.100
also, anybody know if the 6.5 fit in the front doors ok? it seams really tight, and i was thinking i'd have to drop to the 5.25's, which i don't mind so much, but i prefer to stick with 6.5's all around.

Part 2 Sub

and on top of that put a single JL 10W3v2
http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=12512
Powered by PDX-1.6
http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/prod...odel=PDX-1.600

Carputer

Then on top of that the carputer and monitor.

summed Up Question

Has anybody had any problems with this much power consumption with a f-body (94-97). Before i drop all this in i wasn't sure if i should place a order to summit for a 150 amp alternator. I don't exactly have room in the car for a second battery, I'm trying to keep it as stock looking as possible, due to i go to a big 10 college, there are a lot of people that want a lot of stuff, and i'm already drawing enough attention to the car as is.

So short story
any problems using approximately 1120 watts of power (4 speakers@100W, 1 sub@600W, carputer @ max 120W) as well as running air conditioning on a relatively stock electrical system.

i'm would hold off on the alt. until after the install. definately do the 'big 3' upgrade and see if your lights till dim when the bass hits.

if i were you though, i'd drop the rear speakers and go fully active :-)

sounds like you're going to have a nice system on your hands. be sure to take the time to try different tweeter locations before you commit to the final install.

I'm going for the best sounding. I'm kind of a bose activist, have a lifestyle 50 fort he big screen and the companion 3 system for the computer. I plan on putting the tweeters in their stock locations. I currently have then 10 speaker premium sound. Where there would normally be 6x9's / 5x7's there is a 4" speaker and a tweeter. So I'll just disconnect the 4"'s and replace all the tweets.

at least i know i have plenty of time, I'm basically working on the car every night to work on it, just that crazy work schedule gets in the way.

Anyway, it'd be nice to know if anybody has simply dropped in 6 1/2's into these fbody's, I've check out the fbody idea's section but most people are pretty much only worried about subs. need to do another look through.

good news is that it's easy to get better then bose sound. bose uses a lot of enginering and inexpensive speakers to get good sound. All you have to do is k.i.s.s. and use good drivers. pay attention to the install, aiming and sound deadening will go a lot further then amplifier selection.

don't try to mimic bose and use 10 speakers. I'm using 2 pairs of speakers and a sub. The more speakers you have the harder it is to tune and get great sound.
