grand prix wiring

I have just purchased a Pyle 1600 watt amp with 2 pyle 800 watt subwoofers. I have never done any car audio work but am a very fast learner. I know how to hook up speakers and amps but how do i go about splicing my new amp into the factory head unit, I currently have the 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with the Bose sound system, any advice would be appreciated. oh boy..... guess you never heard about the

-function, did you?

But here it goes....

You need a line-level convertor. tap it int the speaker wires, put your RCA cable at the other end and into your amp.
