firstly i really wanted to know the difference between the pxi-h990 and the pxa-h900?

can you control either straight from your car pc? i know with the h701 you need the rux controller..

im trying to work out the best way for SQ to run from my card auzentech x-meridian -> amps

990 is a H701 with upgraded components. I don;t know what other features it may possess over the H701, but the manual or alpine's website should help you out there. the 900 is 11 channels, while the 990 is only 8 I believe.


The H990 has usb pc link, I don't know about the H900 since it's an old model. Contact alpine. If you want PC control there are other options to look at too- look at zapco or Rockford Fosgate 360.

H701 is good enough to win sq competitions, Look at Red, she uses it

What class will you be competing in? There's a LARGE price difference between the F#1 and the 701 and you won't find an online F#1 status retailer for good reason...Alpine wants to keep their name respectable.
