Question hifonics amp went on protection mode

I had two hifonics Titan amps running to my 4 6x9 speakers and one day they just both went on protection mode. I unhooked everything and re-hooked, checked fuses, "the whole 9 yards". Still on protection mode. What happend?

I would say that you have a short either on the ouput/input stage of the amps. I'd pull them out and set one up at a time on the good old garage floor with the car only suppling the power and go from their.
