CD changer wont read past track 7

My son as a renault Clio, with a Dayton 6-CD changer. He is frequently burning CDs of downloaded music. Recently though the player refuses to play anything beyond track 7 sometimes 8. The CDs he`s burning will play on the PC in mine and Mrs Tiggsys cars. The file format is CD audio and hes tried burning using i-tunes and windows. Funnily enough the changer will play is older downloads no problem and indeed play any pukkah albums all the way through. Hes also tried different CD manufacturers without success. Can anyone give me any advice.

If we change the head to an after market one ie Alpine etc. Is it possible to keep the stalk control and display of the dedicated renault unit.

Many thanks Tiggsy

TELL MP3CAR YOU WANT A LINK TO THE FAQ IN A MORE OBVIOUS, NOTICABLE LOCATION HERE.
