vista & bit perfect

While doing research on volume control for the behringer I was linked to some very interesting information about vista:
http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/...ad.php?t=19568

namely...vista handles reducing volume differently from xp w/kmixer so it doesn't reduce resolution as the volume goes down.

idk about you... but I would actually rather control my volume threw the computer anyway...

stupid as this may be/sound this is a large reason for not wanting an alpine unit...

I hate having too many volume controls... not that it is in anyway a fact but... too many hands in the batter ruins the cake...
