Not reall sure

hello. I heard about this place from a guy in my discrete mathmatics class so I thought I would check it out.

I have spent probably the last hour doing quite a few searchs trying to find info I need, but honestly know nothing about what i want to do to know what to search for. So here is what i want to do.

I have a Motorola Slvr with a 2 gig sd card in it. I use it as my mp3 player. Well I want to be able to un-plug my head phones from it and plug up my headunit or however so i can immediatly start listening with my car. I am currently between cars at the moment, but plan to do this to my next car. I would like to bypass the whole computer itself since i can barely afford piece of crap desktop as it is.

Now the trouble I run into is mostly my connection is, IIRC from what someone told me, a 3.5 mm connection that goes from the phone to usb or motorola specific headphones.

Any help on where to start so i can do this would be great. Heck even tips on what I can search for would be fine.

Thanks.

Wow, I didn't even know that existed. Wish I had known about that before i spent 30 bucks on my headphones.

Where is a good place to start on hooking up to my headunit for playing stuff through the car?

Is aftermarket HU alpine. I'll get the exact one tonight, but here is a link to a picture of one similar to CDA-7894.
