AUX jack??

O.K. so I have a Pioneer P4600MP stereo and I'm trying to hook up my MP3 player and I've turned the AUX on but when I plug in my mp3 nothing happens. Any help would be really appriciated.

Yes, I'm not that retarded. lol

I just called the people at Phillips and they told me there are no seetings on the Mp3 player I have to change, so the problem has to be with the stereo. I just don't understand why it wouldn't play with AUX on and the player plugged in. ???

And are you using the CD-RB10 IP-BUS to RCA adapter cable?

You can get it from Crutchfield, but it is probably cheaper just to look for one on eBay.

The reason that you are not getting any sound is that the "input" you plugged into isn't an input, it is a output for an amplifier.

Get one of the CD-RB10 and you will be all set.
