sound blaster live 24 bit sub problem
I have a problem with the output of my SB Live! external card I think
Setup:
MB quart pab 5400 amp (5 channel)
MB quart 6.5 comps
MB quart 6.5 add a woofer
MB quart 10" sub
all are ref series except the amp it is pro
I get great sound from the front and rear channel but hardly a wisper from my sub. I switch the sub to the front channel on the sound card and it it is much louder. When I plug my Ipod into the sub input it sounds great. I have a y cable on the end of the sub cable to go into the amp because only one channel is for the sub and the amp takes two rca inputs. I hope I have been clear enough for some help. My installer guy says that since only one cable has a signal it is too weak to split with the y cable. I am lost and pulling my hair out.
