2004 Silverado options

I have an 04 Sliverado Z71 4X4 with factory Bose system and I would like to add an Aux input to hook up my PC through. I have read around in the forum and internet and found the pxgm12 and pxgm24. I can not figure out which one I need because nothing I have read specifies Bose or not. I understand that the pxgm24 will support aftermarket radios which I do not plan on having but does it matter which one I use for the Bose system. I have The Bose system, XM radio, and OnStar. I would likr to keep everything factory and only add the Aux input. Also if there is another product other than these that will be better please let me know.

Thanks, I appreciate everyones time

Frank

I appreciate the reply it helps alot. I was wondering if I hook up my PC sound through the pxgm-24 Aux input to my factory Bose system how will it sound. Do I need to need to get a Sound card and if so what do I need to look for? I have read about 5.1 sound and the likes but will going through the Aux input make that impossible. Again I apprecieate the help.

It should sound decent for you, I dont think that you would need much more then the onboard sound for this application. I've never been a fan of 5.1 in the auto, but I can say that it will not work in this application because of the 2ch input.
