digital sound processor
I am in the planning stages of setting up a carpc.
Right now I am working on the audio aspect. I would like to run my setup like this:
carpc(optical out) -> 5/6/7.1 sound processor -> 3 2-channel amps F,R,C+S or 1 4-channel and 2 2-channel amps
however, i cannot locate a "sound processor" I have been looking online for the last 3 hours. I cannot find a car audio manufacturer that sells a surround sound processor except for a $500 alpine unit from crutchfield.
