Clarion DXZ535 and Aux Input

I just bought a used Clarion DXZ535 Faceplate on ebay and it hasn't arrived yet. I looked up the specs before I bought it because I was looking for a faceplate that came with auxiliary input.

On many sites it said it has 2 channel auxiliary input. I looked at pictures and I didn't see one. One of the sites said it has auxiliary input in the rear. Does this mean I need the actual head unit for the auxiliary input and the faceplate it's self doesn't have it?

Moved to Car Audio.

If I understand your post, you bought just the faceplate from a headunit? Do you have the actual headunit?
Are you aware that the faceplate without the headunit is completely useless?

According to the specs I found, that Clarion headunit has the aux input on the rear. Granted, you're going to need the entire headunit and not just the faceplate.

PLEASE tell us that you didn't purchase a faceplate believing it will give you audio functionality in your ride. PLEASE!!!!

Nope, I already have a head unit. But I am an idiot. I didn't realize all faceplates were NOT interchangeable. :\

I have a JVC Head unit lol... What are the chances this clarion faceplate will work?

Not likely. Unless you can find the poor bastard who had his faceplate stolen from the guy you bought the faceplate from. Because i would guess that the majority of the faceplates for headunits sold on ebay are stolen. I have even joked around with my customers who get their faceplate stolen by telling them they might be able to buy back their original faceplate online.
