carbump is an unknown quantity at this point
did i fry my amp

hi new peaple help! i installed an amp and woofer all wired right, except when i would turn it up loud the amp would go into protect. it was fine for a while until i turned it up all the way ,it went into protect but this time it stayed on protect for a while ,then when it did come back on there was no sound. come to find out the ground came lose, i tightened it still nothing ,what did i do ?

If it's still under warantee, then it's defective.

Does the amp still turn on? if not check the fuses.

And as for the previous problem it seems like you wired your subwoofers incorrectly thus causing the amp to go into protection mode.

I agree that I think the wiring is done wrong...I would check the connections.

Yeah, subs wired in parallel as 1 ohm or 2 on a non 2 ohm stable amp could heat it up quick huh?
