MS Paint shows
Anyways, with the VGA box, you will need power so you will need to find one that runs off of 5v or 12v so your PSU can handle it. Run the monitors to the battery directly.
Are you saying all the screens are touchscreens? If so you should have a USB line direct to the mobo, hubs are no good with touchscreens. But with that many, depending on your motherboard you may need a hub, but I would run the one that is going in your dash (8"?) direct to the mobo at a minimum. Same with GPS. Put the GPS puck direct to the mobo, and put the IR thing into the hub.
And I wouldnt use IR. If this is a show car, then you want to control outside too for giggles so get a radio solution like standard RF or bluetooth.

DVD drive does not go to the battery. it will need 2 USB ports. 1 for data and 1 for power. And you cannot power them off of a self powered USB hub. You can power it off of a hub if it is a powered one, but if it is not powered, then the data plug needs to go direct to the mobo or there wont be enough juice.

Looks fine, but again run your main screen's USB directly to the motherboard.

Yes, check it carefully, my VGA splitter was so specific that I had to use an inverter to power it. It would not work without using the original wall adapter.

I have a 7 port hub, and 3 touch panels are connected to it, plus one RF mouse and I never have issues, except sometimes the mouse will kinda lag sometimes, but not a big deal. I installed a special driver for the touchscreens that supports multiple touchscreens, so maybe thats why i have no issues.

Dont use IR, I have a RF based handheld mouse and its awsome. I can be 30 feet away from the car and still use it. I also have three PS3 thumbpads and all have the same range. Go RF if possible.
