max power help

I have a 1600 watt mono class d amp and two dual voice coil memphis 12s I have them wired parallel witch gives me a 2 ohm load but to get max power I need a 1 ohm load and you can't bridge a mono block cause they go into a single inside the amp even tough it has two speaker inputs on the out side so how do I get a 1 ohm load

what's the ohm load on the subwoofers? dvc 4's or dvc2's? if the subs are dvc 4ohms then wiring them all in parallel should give u 1 ohm.

btw, do you have the brand/specs of the amp?

The amplifier is already bridged, you can't bridge it any further.
Like audiology was getting at, the only conditions you can get your 2 speakers wired down to 1 ohm is if either you had 2 speakers with 2 ohms a piece, or if you had 2 dual voice coil speakers with 4 ohms each coil.

So with your current setup you cannot increase the performance or effiency without changing out the components, ie amp or subs.

did a cuple tests

I checked if un hooking one sub made a diffrence and it sounded the same as two so I then checked to make sure it was the same with the other and it was so i checked the volts at the amp and they are way low so i got a memphis lighting cap but still need to hook it in line and see what happens and by chance whould any body have a idea as to how many watts the subs I got might be theyare 07 model memphis

they are 800 watts peek and dual 2 ohm voice coil that mean I should wire diffrently
