Corsa Stereo Wiring

Hi, I've just bought an old '95 Corsa, and the guy who had it before me seems to have gone crazy with the wiring behind the stereo. It seems most of the rear speaker wires have been cut but i think the rest look intact. I fit a known-working stereo in the car and it works fine - that is untill the ignition is turned on, at which point it stops working completely. Take the keys abck out the radio works fine.

I'm guessing theres just 2 wires i may need to switch to get the radio to work with the ignition on. but which ones? I'm clueless.

Thanks for your help!
tom.

If you really have no idea what you're doing, I suggest taking it to a professional rather than risk borking something.
Improperly wired electics in the car can result in a fire, which is bad.

(Cue the Toaster-toon)

Considering the lethal amount of amps that would run through you, you wouldn't laugh for very long, I assure you.

Time to engage the grey matter.
Who would logically have knowledge and experience with the electrical system of a vehicle?
Either an automotive electrician or a car stereo installer.
