Honda m-bus splitter

I have a 98 civic with the factory radio installed and an Alpine cd changer in the trunk. I want to get an AUX input device for my car but my m-bus on my radio is being used by my cd player, which I wish to keep in addition to adding the AUX input. Is there a splitter or switching device that I can either buy or make, or is it a waste of time to try this?
