EBP Question

I have a small 6.5 subs with an EBP of 177 which is better suited to a ported box.

What would be the down side to putting them into a sealed box ?

The recomendations ask for a box with total volume of 0.75 I just do not have that much room. I am building a sealed box with total volume 0.25.
