Has anyone ever tried this DAC?

I know everyone is big on the Hippo here, but I am trying to find some cheaper alternative solutions to kill all that ground noise in my car. (<100)

From all the searching and searching and reading that I did, the only thing that comes up consistently to rid of ground noise is to get a DAC, to decrease the long path of RCAs to amplifiers.

So has anyone ever tried this one? I am looking to get either this one or the silverstone.

This DAC is simply called Hot Audio DAC

FusionFanatic is an unknown quantity at this point
have you tried an audio line ground loop isolator?

I have this model from Radio Shack hooked up between a Pioneer Inno [cradle/dock] and my carPC. there was a high pitched 'whine' that I couldn't get rid of, I hooked this up and it worked perfect.

good luck

ground loop isolators decrease the quality of your sound system. I need a better cleaner signal as opposed to a band-aid fix.

no one has ever tried this?
