2008 Subaru Legacy GT/Spec.B factory head unit info

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody can provide more information regarding the factory sound system that comes with my 2008 Subaru Legacy Spec.B. Does anybody have resources who can provide the service manual to the sound system, or at least have a diagram to the back of the unit and how things are wired by default?

I'm asking because I'm thinking about getting the Nokia CK-300, and I need to know what other items I need to get to get this installed without doing too much splicing into existing wires. Thanks in advance!

John

Have you checked with Subaru themselves? They have a very good technical site where you can download wiring diagrams and more. It's not free but it is material straight from the horse's mouth. http://techinfo.subaru.com/html/index.jsp

LINK UPDATED: http://ae64.com/Legacy-pinout.htm

There are a few other connectors back there, this is the only pinout I know of.

http://www.legacygt.com/ is a good resource, you should try your question there and see what happens.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Your link provided exactly what I needed, and by referencing your diagram, I'm able to match up the proprietary-to-ISO-to-proprietary intermediary cable correctly!

I'm also a member of legacygt.com, and I posted the question there as well, but got nowhere.

Thanks again!
