Speaker placement

I have a regular cab 90 Ranger and my gf's family got me 2 sets of speakers, I think one set will fit in my doors and the other set I don't know whaht to do with at all. I also have a problem with my current set in my doors, the problem is that usually my driver side door usually starts out not getting any sound and then gets sound after a mile or so but lately its happening to my passenger side as well.

Any ideas?
