will a Kenwood KAC-628 work with my stock car speakers

I am installing this on a 2004 Subaru WRX. I have a Kenwood KAC-628 that I was hoping I would be able to use for my carputer 2 channel audio power. I am pretty sure that my stock speakers run at 4 ohms and are connected in parallel from the stock HU wiring harness. Can I just connect from the amp to the stock HU harness, this way not having to reroute wiring to speakers in doors?

Here is the info sheet for the amp:

http://inform3.kenwoodusa.com/manuals/kac528.pdf

It looks as if I'm connecting the (4) 4 ohm speakers to the amp in parallel, it will run at 1 ohm, which I don't think this amp will do. Or does it just treat it as (2) 4 ohm speakers running at 2 ohm, which I'm pretty sure the amp will do. Any advice is much appreciated.

Also, will I be okay with running 18 AWG speaker wire from amp to stock HU harness?

The speakers would not by default be connected in parallel, because that would not allow both side to side and front to rear fade.

Looks like it would power the speakers if you connected both left and both right together in parallel to present a 2-ohm load on each channel. though lol @ the warning about smoke being emitted

As far as running wire from the amp to your stock harness you can do that just fine. If you dont run very high watts then it will be fine.

Now, your stock speakers surviving off of that amp is going to be iffy. IF I had to use that amp I would run left and right channels but no front to back and I would upgrade the speakers so that the amp wont blow the stock speakers. But I would personally run a 4 channel amp if you want to keep using 4 speakers.
