radioshark reception problem

hey guys I have a bit of a problem with my radio shark 1 antena.
I bought it 2 months ago and it works great, the problem is that i cant get any good reception excpet for one channel, all the other channels are impossible to reach with that antena.
So what im asking here is if someone knows or have an idea on how to boost up the radioshark antena's reception so ill get all the other channels as well.
please help me.
Thanks!

The vast majority of PC-based radio hardware (Radioshark included) is designed to be used on a stationary PC and have a very weak antenna.
Your vehicle is hardly stationary. Then there's all this metal around it that tends to reflect radio waves (the reason your car radio antenna is outside).

Unless you hack the Radioshark and wire it to an external antenna, the reception will be garbage.

there's nothing really you can buy in a store, you've got to get a visteon or directed hdradio (about $50) from ebay and mitchJS control cable (search the forums)...
