Problem with sound comming from rear speakers

First off I'm not sure if this is the right section for this post so if not feel free to move it. Now I'm running a turtle beach srm USB sound card and windows xp off a laptop. My problem is that when I'm playing music through RoadRunner there is no sound comming through the rear 6x9's but my subs and components up front work just fine. When I just run the demo for the sound card the rear speakers work fine. Not sure if this would be a Winamp problem or RR or what. Any help would be great. Thanks!
